World Clean Up-Day 2020

To Mark 2020’s World Clean Up-Day, TotaleEnergies Tanzania commemorated the event on 19th September 2020 by Cleaning the Beach at Open Beach in Mbezi. A total of 60 people that included employees, their families, friends, and the District municipal environment council officials participated in the event.

To officiate the event, the Corporate Affairs Director; Marsha Msuya said, “TotalEnergies is committed to the preservation of the environment, therefore, we started an eco-solution program, which aims at planting trees in schools. In this 2020 World Clean-Up Day, we started by cleaning the surroundings close to our stations and we are here today to clean the beach, to make the environment friendly for everyone who visits this area.”

Ms. Msuya also thanked the district municipal for their assistance and participation as stakeholders in environment preservation “We would like to thank the Kinondoni Municipal, for their support in this project. We are honoured by the presence of its official members who assisted in making this event successful.
